After my brain surgery, my face was distorted and severely swollen for a few weeks.  I had my friend Lauren take this picture outside my house on the first day when I put on some make-up because I finally felt pretty again. My right eye was still a bit bloodshot, but that has now gone away and is not that noticeable in the picture.
